How to advance gender equality throughout the legal profession (English)

During this practical session, we will dive into the specific challenges faced by women in the legal profession including sharing of approaches to target setting in the legal industry. This session will also provide a discussion feeding into “50/50 by 2030” – a global project by the IBA to uncover the root causes of the lack of gender parity at the most senior levels of the legal profession, identify whether diversity initiatives introduced to address this disparity are having any impact, and to provide practical conclusions and guidance to the profession.
